Bulgarian for speakers of other languages
Foreign Language Centre tries to cater for a variety of learning needs in different situations. We are aware that learning Bulgarian as a second language is not massively popular but yet a pressing need for foreigners who want to do business in Bulgaria or intend to integrate in our society for other reasons. For all those we are ready to offer customised courses in Bulgarian through English, French, Russian, German and Italian. The type of course, frequency, weekly schedule, tuition fee, etc. terms and conditions are negotiable. For more detail, please read "description".We offer mainly individual courses in General Bulgarian, through English, French and Russian. We mainly apply the communicative approach in teaching a foreign language but accompanied with sufficient academic detail when it comes to presenting grammar and syntax. The syllabus is focused on acquainting foreigners with the basics of the phonological and grammatical structures of the Bulgarian language, as well as presenting common communicative chunks of language, ready to be used in everyday conversation, in both formal and informal situations.
Apart from the proper linguistic practice we also provide our foreign clients with sufficient information concerning Bulgarian culture, customs and traditions, ways and means of doing routine things in Bulgaria and anything they might find difficult to understand in our society.
We also cater for their individual communicative needs, stemming from their immediate working/living environment.
